Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) is expanding its commercial activity through a new long-term agreement between its subsidiary ABX Air and Miami-based Global Aviation Link (GAL).
Under the agreement, ABX Air will operate a Boeing 767-300 freighter for Global Aviation Link, providing the full range of aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) services required for the operation.
The deal is part of ATSG’s evolving Airlines & Services commercial strategy, which is focused on increasing charter opportunities while giving customers greater flexibility through operating and aviation support solutions across the group’s businesses.
According to ATSG, this approach is intended to help customers enter new markets, extend their networks and adapt to changing requirements for air cargo capacity.

Expanding regional air freight connections
Global Aviation Link brings 25 years of experience in the commercialisation of Boeing 767-300 freighters across Central and South America. The company specialises in air freight operations involving perishables, pharmaceuticals, aerospace equipment and other time-sensitive cargo.
The new partnership will allow GAL to extend its reach into additional markets.

ATSG’s expanding aircraft and services portfolio
Air Transport Services Group provides aircraft leasing, air transportation and aviation support services to customers worldwide.
Its fleet includes Boeing 767, Airbus A321 and Airbus A330 freighters, as well as Boeing 777 and Boeing 767 passenger aircraft used for global ACMI and charter operations.
For ATSG, the agreement with Global Aviation Link adds another application for its Boeing 767 platform while supporting the group’s broader strategy of developing flexible aviation solutions for customers.
Global Aviation Link strengthens Miami–Bogotá operation
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Miami, Florida, Global Aviation Link connects Central and South America with the United States, Europe and East Asia.
The company has operated charter flights between Miami and Bogotá for more than three years, a period during which it has expanded its presence in the market.
GAL currently operates seven weekly MIA–BOG–MIA frequencies, supported by strong on-time performance and specialised capabilities for temperature-controlled cargo.
The combination of the additional Boeing 767-300 freighter and ATSG’s ACMI support is intended to give Global Aviation Link additional capacity as it develops its regional network and expands its specialised air freight and cold-chain operations.
