Polish GSSA 4RCargo has appointed Olga Palec-Furga as chief operating officer, marking another step in the company’s effort to strengthen its management structure and reinforce its position across Eastern Europe.

Headquartered in Warsaw, 4RCargo said the appointment supports its long-term strategy of building a stronger leadership team while continuing to grow in the regional market.

Palec-Furga joins the company with more than 20 years of industry experience, having worked across airlines, GSSAs and airports in Poland.

Chief executive Pawel Kazmierczak said the company is now entering its fifth year with the aim of building on the momentum already achieved and consolidating its standing in Eastern Europe. He added that since the company’s founding, local expertise has remained central to its business model, and described Palec-Furga’s appointment as a reflection of 4RCargo’s commitment to combining strong regional knowledge with operational excellence in support of airline partners.

In her new role, Palec-Furga is expected to work closely with the senior leadership team to support expansion into new markets while maintaining the company’s strong ties across Eastern Europe.

She said 4RCargo is continuing to grow as a GSSA and that she looks forward to helping shape the next phase of the company’s development. She added that the Eastern European air cargo market is evolving rapidly, and said 4RCargo is well placed to respond thanks to its operational experience, modern outlook and strong focus on supporting the next generation of air cargo professionals.

The appointment comes during a period of broader growth for the company. In February, 4RCargo announced the launch of operations in the Baltic region and named Vladislavs Pecevics as product development and regional manager.

Its Baltics office covers Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, extending the company’s footprint into Northern Europe.

The company has also expanded in Slovakia. In early autumn last year, Turkish Cargo selected Warsaw-based 4RCargo as its exclusive GSSA in the Slovak market. The agreement gives customers in Slovakia access to Turkish Cargo’s wider network via Vienna, Frankfurt, Linz, Munich and Prague before transiting through the carrier’s main hub in Istanbul.

To support that development, 4RCargo opened a dedicated office in Bratislava earlier in the year in response to market demand.

Since its establishment in 2021, the company has steadily extended its reach across Central and Eastern Europe.
