AD Ports Group, a global leader in trade and logistics, has set a new standard by securing 15 international recognitions from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). This milestone marks the first time an organization has undergone a comprehensive EFQM assessment across 15 entities simultaneously.

A New Benchmark in Excellence

The recognitions, awarded during the MAFNOOD Excellence Awards 2024 in Abu Dhabi, were categorized into three tiers:

  • Recognised by EFQM for five business clusters.
  • Qualified by EFQM for five subsidiaries.
  • Corporate Excellence Awards for five corporate support units.

Two entities, the Economic Cities & Free Zones (EC&FZ) and the Digital Cluster, achieved the prestigious 6-star EFQM rating, underlining their exceptional innovation and operational standards.

Leadership’s Vision

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, celebrated the achievement, stating:
“These recognitions reflect our unwavering commitment to operational excellence and innovation, supporting our mission to lead the global ports and logistics sector.”

Driving Global Standards

AD Ports Group’s success aligns with its vision to enhance service quality and efficiency while contributing to the economic growth of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The EFQM Excellence Model continues to guide the organization in fostering agility and performance-driven strategies.

Conclusion

This groundbreaking recognition solidifies AD Ports Group’s position as a global trailblazer in logistics and trade. It reflects the organization’s dedication to delivering superior standards across its operations, paving the way for sustained leadership in the industry.
