The Dominican Republic Logistics Summit 2024 (DRLS2024) is set to take place on April 17 and 18 at the El Embajador hotel in Santo Domingo. This summit aims to strengthen the Dominican Republic’s position as the leading regional logistics hub.

Organized collaboratively by the Association of Shipowners of the Dominican Republic (ANRD), the General Directorate of Customs (DGA), and the National Trade Facilitation Committee (CNFC), with support from prominent sector entities, DRLS2024 seeks to showcase the competitive advantages of the Dominican logistics sector. These advantages include strategic geographical location, robust maritime, air, and land connectivity, efficient transit times, advanced logistics infrastructure, manufacturing capabilities, economic and social stability, and a reliable legal framework.

The agenda for the Dominican Republic Logistics Summit 2024 will feature discussions on connectivity, innovation, sustainability, logistics opportunities, and nearshoring, with insights from both domestic and international experts. The program will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a special presentation. A significant part of the summit will focus on the theme “Transforming Tangier, Connecting Continents: The Multilevel Impact of Tangier Med on Global Prosperity,” led by the mayor of Tangier, Morocco, Mounir Lymouri.
