Air Premia has expanded its cargo operations by appointing Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) as its cargo terminal operator for its newly launched Seoul Incheon (ICN) – Hong Kong (HKG) route. With four weekly flights operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft, this partnership aims to enhance regional air cargo capacity and efficiency.

Boosting Air Cargo Connectivity Between South Korea and Hong Kong

As demand for efficient freight transportation grows in Asia, this new service provides:

  • Increased cargo space for a variety of shipments, including high-value goods and time-sensitive freight.
  • Optimized handling and logistics through AAT’s advanced terminal operations, ensuring faster processing and seamless transfers.
  • Stronger trade links between South Korea and Hong Kong, benefiting industries such as electronics, e-commerce, and perishables.

Strategic Partnership for Growth

Daniel Kim, Vice President of Air Premia’s Cargo Division, highlighted the importance of this collaboration:
“We are excited to partner with AAT as we strengthen our cargo presence in the region. AAT’s expertise in terminal operations aligns with our commitment to efficiency and service excellence.”

Mike Chew, Chief Executive of AAT, emphasized the synergy between the two companies:
“We welcome Air Premia to Hong Kong and are honored to handle their cargo operations. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure will support their expansion and ensure smooth logistics services.”

The Future of Regional Air Freight Logistics

With Hong Kong positioned as a key hub for Asian air cargo, Air Premia’s latest expansion is set to reinforce trade routes and improve supply chain connectivity. By combining efficient airline operations with AAT’s high-performance cargo handling, this partnership is expected to drive future growth in air freight logistics.
