American Airlines Flight Aborts Takeoff After Tire Blowout

An American Airlines flight bound for Phoenix experienced a terrifying ordeal on Wednesday morning when multiple tires blew out during takeoff. Flight 590, carrying 176 passengers and six crew members, was accelerating down the runway at Tampa International Airport when the incident occurred.

Dramatic footage of the event captured the moment when several tires burst, sending plumes of smoke billowing into the air. The pilot swiftly reacted by aborting the takeoff, bringing the aircraft to a safe halt. All passengers and crew members were evacuated from the plane without injuries.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the cause of the tire failure. American Airlines has apologized for the incident and is working to rebook affected passengers.
