Astral Aviation, a leading African-owned cargo airline headquartered in Nairobi, has announced the expansion of its cargo services between Africa and Asia. The new routes will connect key African cities like Nairobi, Johannesburg, and Lagos to major Asian destinations, including Guangzhou, Dhaka, and Kuala Lumpur. This move is part of Astral’s long-term strategy to bridge the gap between emerging markets in Africa and Asia, where demand for goods such as electronics, textiles, and medical supplies is rapidly increasing.

Known for its expertise in time-critical shipments, Astral Aviation specializes in perishable goods, pharmaceuticals, and humanitarian cargo. The airline has played a crucial role in delivering medical supplies and aid to remote areas during the pandemic, earning a reputation for reliability in tough conditions. The new routes will enable businesses in Africa to export products such as fresh produce, flowers, and valuable minerals to Asian markets more efficiently, while providing Asian exporters with a direct link to growing African economies. With this expansion, Astral Aviation is poised to strengthen its footprint as a major player in intra-continental and intercontinental airfreight logistics.
