AVS GSA Thailand, a subsidiary of the ECS Group, has been appointed as the General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for Air Macau in Thailand, effective February 1, 2025. This two-year agreement entrusts AVS GSA Thailand with overseeing cargo sales and providing operational support for Air Macau’s flights between Thailand and key destinations in North Asia.
Strengthening Air Cargo Connectivity
Air Macau operates three daily flights from Thailand—two from Suvarnabhumi Airport and one from Don Mueang Airport—utilizing Airbus A321 and A320 aircraft. This partnership aims to enhance air cargo connectivity between Thailand, Macau, Mainland China, and Taiwan. Key commodities transported include perishables such as orchid flowers and seafood from Macau, betel leaves and fresh foodstuffs to Kaohsiung and Taipei, as well as electronic parts and general cargo destined for Mainland China.
Proven Track Record Leading to Direct Appointment
Prior to this appointment, AVS GSA Thailand served as a sub-GSSA for Air Macau since May 2024, during which it successfully generated substantial revenue. This performance led to its direct appointment as GSSA.
