Approximately 493,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of goods were successfully moved via these freight train services, showcasing a remarkable 10% increase from the previous year. Moreover, as of March 2024, Chinese media reports revealed that the cumulative number of China-Europe freight train trips had reached an impressive 87,000. This extensive network now spans across 222 cities in 25 European countries, highlighting the expansive reach and operational efficiency of these freight train services.
