The South Korean 3PL LX Pantos announces the creation of a logistics hub in Eastern Europe thru the acquisition of a platform in Katowice, Poland. The operation, valued at nearly 150 million dollars, benefits from Korean institutional support. The objective is clear: to position itself in an area that combines industrial growth, availability of labor, and a geographical advantage on pan-European flows.
The site, covering approximately 109,000 m², is to be commissioned in phases, with tenants already committed. LX Pantos is particularly targeting clients in the automotive, consumer goods, and home appliance sectors, in a context of increasing industrial investments related to electric vehicles, batteries, and components.
The company also emphasizes the “strategic” dimension: Katowice is located at the intersection of major east-west and north-south axes. And, notably, the hub could become a relevant logistical relay for future demand related to regional reconstruction, as soon as macroeconomic and geopolitical conditions allow it.
