The Open Logistics Foundation has officially partnered with IATA to support the ONE Record Hackathon, set to take place on February 24-25 in Dublin. This collaboration aims to accelerate digital transformation in air cargo logistics by promoting open-source solutions and standardized data exchange across the industry.

Advancing ONE Record as an Industry Standard

As a non-profit organization, the Open Logistics Foundation is committed to developing open digital solutions for air cargo stakeholders. Through this partnership, the foundation will:

  • Promote ONE Record as an open-source framework, ensuring widespread adoption across the air cargo ecosystem.
  • Encourage collaboration among logistics companies, reducing dependency on proprietary systems.
  • Support the creation of standardized digital workflows for seamless, real-time cargo data exchange.

Driving Digital Innovation in Air Freight

IATA’s ONE Record initiative is designed to replace traditional, fragmented data-sharing methods with a single, secure, and digital standard.

“ONE Record is a decisive step towards a fully digitalized air cargo industry. With the Open Logistics Foundation, we are building a system that fosters innovation, efficiency, and transparency for all stakeholders.”

The Future of Open-Source Logistics

By working together, IATA and the Open Logistics Foundation are laying the groundwork for a more connected and efficient air freight industry. The partnership aims to:

✔ Simplify cargo data exchange through universal digital standards.
✔ Enable real-time shipment tracking and automation.
✔ Drive industry-wide adoption of open digital logistics frameworks.

With air freight logistics becoming increasingly data-driven, initiatives like ONE Record are shaping the future of digital air cargo operations.
