February 26, 2025 – The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has announced the launch of the new EXS6 shipping service, operated by Caerus, at Jeddah Islamic Port. This direct shipping route strengthens maritime trade between Saudi Arabia and Syria, further integrating the Kingdom into the global trade network.

The introduction of EXS6 aligns with Mawani’s strategic objectives to:

The new EXS6 service establishes a direct shipping link between:
- Jeddah Islamic Port (Saudi Arabia)
- Iskenderun Port (Turkiye)
- Latakia Port (Syria)
With a capacity of 858 standard containers, this expansion is set to boost trade, support exports and imports, and enhance the competitiveness of Jeddah Islamic Port on both regional and international levels.
