Crane Worldwide Logistics has partnered with cargo.one to deploy the platform across its global operations, as part of a broader effort to modernise procurement, pricing and quoting workflows.

The rollout gives Crane a single digital environment through which it can manage live rates, static rates, live estimates, rate engine functions, Quotes API, AI-powered quoting and tender feeder services across its network.

The company said the integration is intended to centralise pricing data, streamline quoting and booking, reduce operational complexity and support more data-driven decisions across all branches.

One of the key objectives is to bring together all relevant rates — including contract rates, consol rates and market pricing — into a single source that can be used more consistently throughout the organisation.

cargo.one’s Rate Engine will become the central management point for Crane’s buy rates, internal product rates and sell rates, replacing the need to work across multiple disconnected sources.

Because the platform is integrated with Crane’s WiseTech-powered transport management system, gateway and branch teams can access relevant rate content more quickly and with greater consistency. The goal is not only to accelerate quote turnaround but also to reduce the operational burden of scaling large quoting teams manually.

Brannon Kuykendall, CIO of Crane Worldwide Logistics, said the partnership creates real leverage by combining broad airline rate access with modern integration methods and real-time event streaming.

He added that as Crane continues to build its AI strategy, technology partners capable of providing flexible, AI-native infrastructure are increasingly important, allowing the company to focus on client-facing innovation rather than data connectivity.

cargo.one said its tools also support Crane’s wider AI roadmap by serving as a digital backend for future proprietary AI developments.

Moritz Claussen, founder and co-chief executive of cargo.one, said the partnership reflects a growing industry need for intelligent automation, comprehensive content and business-specific digital infrastructure.

Crane said the collaboration will help it stay aligned with industry standards in rate reliability, data quality and availability, all of which directly influence quoting and booking performance.
