UK-based airfreight wholesaler Cargonet has promoted Andy Sullivan to the role of commercial director, continuing its efforts to strengthen the company’s sales and commercial organization as it pursues further growth in the market.
Sullivan joined Cargonet in 2023 and has since been responsible for developing the company’s external sales function, playing a visible role in driving business growth and expanding customer relationships.
In his new position, he will take full responsibility for regional commercial activities while continuing to lead the external sales team. According to the company, the role will also see him become more involved in shaping commercial strategy and supporting day-to-day operations.
Managing director Steve Landy said Sullivan has made a strong impact since joining the business and that the promotion reflects both his contribution and Cargonet’s continued focus on enhancing its commercial capabilities.
Sullivan said he is proud to take on the position at an important moment for the company and looks forward to further developing its offering and strengthening support for customers.
Cargonet said the appointment forms part of its wider growth strategy in the airfreight sector.
