Netradyne is expanding the capabilities of its Netradyne Intelligence platform with a new set of AI-powered tools designed to simplify fleet safety management, automate operational tasks and help managers make better use of real-time data. Announced on Tuesday, the latest update introduces a Campaign Agent for driver coaching, a custom agent builder and conversational access to live fleet information. The new features are available to Netradyne’s direct customers in the United States and Canada.
Fleet management teams often spend considerable time preparing reports, configuring dashboards and gathering the information needed to make operational decisions. Netradyne aims to reduce that workload by allowing managers to describe their objectives in natural language and delegate specific tasks to AI agents while retaining control over the process.
“Fleet teams are pressed for time to configure reports and piece together answers,” said Avneesh Agrawal, Netradyne’s CEO, in the announcement. The agents offer a scalable way to access insights through Netradyne Intelligence, he explained, adding that customers had already created more than 250 agents within one month of the initial release.
Based in San Diego, California, Netradyne develops driver safety and fleet management technology. The company introduced Netradyne Intelligence in June, building the platform on a foundation of more than 30 billion miles and 150 billion minutes of real-world driving data.
At the time, Agrawal highlighted the shift facing fleet operators: while businesses had invested heavily in gaining visibility into their operations, the greater challenge was turning that information into action. Coaching and incident response agents were available when the platform launched. In August, Netradyne expanded its capabilities with a Collision Management Agent and an MCP connector.
During the June launch, Chief Product Officer Pramod Akkarachittor explained that the agents could understand context, carry out multi-step workflows and follow through on tasks for managers. The latest developments give fleet teams more flexibility to determine which activities those agents perform and how their work is organized.
Campaign Agent gives driver coaching a competitive edge
The new Campaign Agent aims to make driver coaching more engaging by turning safety improvement initiatives into competitions. Fleet managers select the safety priorities they want to tackle and determine which driver groups will be involved. The agent then handles the scoring process, publishes daily standings and delivers updates to drivers.
Comparing performance before, during and after a campaign allows managers to determine if the initiative is producing measurable results. These comparisons also help identify which drivers have improved and which ones still need help.
The Campaign Agent works in conjunction with two existing tools to tackle some of the most time consuming aspects of fleet safety management.
The Collision Management Agent handles incident management from first report to resolution, helping teams to more systematically manage the process. Coaching Agent, which went live with the platform in June, highlights drivers who need attention against targets set by managers. It also prepares coaching sessions based on each driver’s history, the most relevant alerts and a recommended improvement plan.
The agents work together to help fleet teams move from pinpointing safety issues to putting in place specific solutions.
AI agents tailored to each fleet’s priorities
In addition to the off-the-shelf tools, Netradyne is also rolling out a builder that lets managers build custom AI agents without starting from scratch.
The process starts with a plain language description of the task the agent should perform. Examples include developing coaching materials on fuel efficiency, or drawing up a shortlist of drivers to be recognized. Managers can then define the relevant driver groups, conditions the agent should follow and select its operating schedule.
Once set up, the agent provides updated findings and recommendations via the Netradyne portal or email. “This solution allows each customer to receive analysis based on their unique operational priorities without having to constantly recreate reports,” the company said.
The customizable system is designed to give fleet managers greater control over how AI supports the daily work they do, so they can automate recurring tasks and tailor the tools to their own goals.
Conversational access to real-time fleet information
The expanded platform also allows managers to ask questions about their fleets and receive answers based on live data. Rather than relying solely on predefined reports, users can investigate operational issues through a conversational interface and follow up to understand what has changed and why.
The information can be examined across different dimensions, including individual drivers, driver groups, behaviors and time periods. This makes it possible to move from a general observation to a more detailed investigation of a particular safety or performance issue.
When a response proves useful, managers can turn the underlying analysis into an AI agent that runs according to a defined schedule. Insights can therefore become part of a recurring workflow instead of remaining a one-time query.
Access to these capabilities also extends beyond Netradyne’s own portal. The company’s MCP connector, described as a secure bridge to fleet-specific insights, allows fleet context to be used within external AI tools, including ChatGPT and Claude. Teams can ask questions and build agents within these environments, extending access to operational information beyond the platform’s native interface.
Netradyne to demonstrate the expanded platform in Charlotte
Netradyne plans to present its new capabilities at the American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for October 17–20 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The event will provide an opportunity to demonstrate how the expanded agent ecosystem can support driver coaching, incident management, operational analysis and the automation of recurring fleet management tasks.
With the addition of campaign-based coaching, customizable agents and conversational access to live data, Netradyne is continuing to develop its Intelligence platform around a broader objective: helping fleet managers turn operational information into practical actions while maintaining oversight of the decisions and workflows involved.
