CharterSync has rolled out an updated version of its digital pricing platform aimed at giving users a clearer picture of the real cost of chartering an aircraft.
According to the company, the enhanced quote format is intended to address long-standing issues in the air cargo charter market, where the initial price shown to customers often excluded supplementary charges. That lack of clarity frequently led to extended back-and-forth between parties before a final total price could be established.
One of the main changes in the updated format is the addition of greater visibility into extra cost components. CharterSync said the new layout presents quotes in a more structured and transparent way, allowing users to better understand and compare the options available to them.
The company believes the improvement will help freight forwarders evaluate charter solutions more efficiently and with greater confidence.
Founder Ed Gillet said CharterSync has always focused on simplifying a process that remains both complex and fragmented. He said the new quote format provides a clearer and more complete overview from the outset, helping reduce friction, improve transparency and support faster decision-making.
The latest update comes as CharterSync continues investing in its platform. In January, the company introduced new artificial intelligence capabilities designed to improve the speed, accuracy and efficiency of handling freight forwarder enquiries.
That AI module allows users to upload request-for-quote details directly into the platform, including packing lists in Excel or PDF format. It can then extract and populate key data such as origin and destination airports, cargo dimensions, payloads, temperature requirements, UN numbers and class numbers.
