  • Rem Noormohamed – A technology and legal expert specializing in AI, data, and intellectual property law
  • James Wroath – Chief Executive at logistics firm Wincanton

Strengthening Industry Leadership

Phil Roe, President of Logistics UK, emphasized the significance of these appointments at a crucial time for the logistics sector:

“Our new non-executive directors join Logistics UK at a key time for our sector. They bring a wide range of knowledge to help us drive the organization on to the next stage of its development.”

The new appointments reflect a diverse range of expertise across transport, logistics, and digital transformation. By integrating insights from rail, supply chain management, technology, and business leadership, Logistics UK aims to enhance its ability to serve its members and the broader logistics industry as it navigates future challenges.

A Forward-Thinking Approach

Roe highlighted how these new additions will contribute to the organization’s strategic growth:

“With roles covering all modes of transport, as well as business change and digital transformation, they will complement the skills already in place on the board to ensure we are best placed to serve the needs of our members, and the industry as a whole, as it grows and develops. I am looking forward to the challenges and insight that they will bring to our thinking.”

As one of the leading business groups in the logistics sector, Logistics UK continues to position itself at the forefront of industry transformation. The latest board appointments reinforce its commitment to staying ahead of the curve in an evolving market.

“As we reinforce Logistics UK’s position as the preeminent business group in our sector, these new board appointments will add a wealth of knowledge and experience to help prepare the organization for its future challenges,” Roe added.

With a strong leadership team in place, Logistics UK is poised to shape industry best practices, drive innovation, and influence the future of logistics and transport in the UK and beyond.
