Cainiao Group is at the forefront of revolutionizing the logistics industry with its continuous drive for innovation, aiming to redefine the e-commerce experience. As a vital subsidiary of Alibaba Group specializing in logistics, Cainiao stands tall as a global leader in cross-border e-commerce logistics.

What distinguishes Cainiao is its relentless pursuit of progress, exemplified by the recent introduction of its groundbreaking ‘5 work-day delivery solution’ in collaboration with AliExpress. Initially launched in key logistics hubs across Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe in the summer of 2023, the initiative has swiftly expanded, with plans for the establishment of warehousing and distribution centers in the pipeline.

The latest leap forward in Cainiao’s journey involves a significant expansion into Europe, enabling the company to cater to multiple prominent markets. Leveraging its DNA rooted in ‘e-commerce featuring technology,’ Cainiao offers innovative end-to-end logistics solutions to over 200 countries and territories worldwide.

With a vision to achieve next-day delivery within China and 72-hour delivery globally, Cainiao remains a trailblazer in driving industry-wide transformation. Through ongoing investments in cutting-edge technology and robust infrastructure, the company solidifies its position as a premier player in the global logistics arena.

The expansion of the five-day delivery solution in Europe represents yet another milestone in Cainiao’s quest to establish a more interconnected and efficient network. In response to the escalating demand for swift and reliable delivery services among European consumers, the strategic expansion encompasses key markets such as Spain, the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Subsequent rollouts in Germany, France, and Portugal further bolster Cainiao’s presence in Europe, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of cross-border e-commerce logistics. By harnessing advanced technology and a robust logistics network, AliExpress sellers can now provide customers in these markets with a seamless delivery experience, promising a reduced turnaround time of just five working days.

Lin Wan, CEO of Cainiao Group, underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing global logistics infrastructure and optimizing delivery solutions for customers. “Europe remains a key focus for us,” Wan emphasizes, “as we strive to deliver faster, more efficient cross-border logistics services, ultimately driving greater satisfaction for sellers and consumers alike.”
