Kerry Logistics Network, through its subsidiary Kerry e-commerce, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Menzies Aviation and Menzies Macau Airport Services to initiate a global customs clearance collaboration project. The MoU, signed by Frankie Choy, Director of Kerry e-commerce, James Wong, Senior Vice President for Southeast Asia and China at Menzies Aviation, and Raymond Lo, Managing Director at Menzies Macau Airport Services, aims to capitalize on the extensive network of Menzies Aviation, which spans 255 destinations worldwide, with Macau Airport serving as a pivotal hub. This strategic partnership is designed to ensure smooth departure and fast, efficient transport of all goods managed by Kerry e-commerce through Macau, utilizing streamlined customs clearance processes. Choy highlighted the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce as a significant sector of international trade, emphasizing the increasing consumer demand for reliable and speedy deliveries. This alliance promises to enhance international shipping capabilities, offering swift and efficient cross-border delivery services that provide a competitive edge for Kerry e-commerce customers.
