Air cargo community initiative LGG Connect has announced the addition of ACL Airshop as its newest associate member, strengthening the network built around Liege Airport (LGG).
With the new addition, the association now counts 13 members, reflecting growing industry interest in collaborative initiatives designed to enhance the airport’s cargo ecosystem.
In a statement shared on LinkedIn, LGG Connect welcomed the global ULD leasing and management provider into the network.
“They officially join the LGG Connect family, bringing their expertise and innovation to our community,” the organisation said.
Founded in December 2024, LGG Connect is a non-profit association created to unite the various stakeholders operating at Liege Airport’s cargo hub.
Its founding members include major industry players such as:
• Liege Airport
• Fresh Express
• WFS
• Swissport
• Wallenborn
• Aviapartner
The association aims to create a collaborative platform where airlines, ground handlers, freight forwarders, trucking companies and logistics service providers can share ideas and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency.
ACL Airshop brings deep expertise in ULD leasing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), cargo nets and straps supply, logistics coordination and digital fleet management.
The company integrates these services into modular solutions tailored to airlines’ operational needs, combining physical infrastructure with digital tools that provide real-time visibility across the ULD lifecycle.
By joining LGG Connect, ACL Airshop reinforces the association’s ambition to position Liege Airport as one of Europe’s most dynamic air cargo hubs.
