Qatar to Host Seatrade Maritime Conference Focusing on Sustainable Shipping and Digitalisation

Under the patronage of Minister of Transport H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani, Qatar is set to host the inaugural Seatrade Maritime Qatar Conference and Exhibition on February 4-5, 2025, at the Sheraton Doha Hotel and Resort.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Safe and Sustainable Shipping: Exploring strategies to enhance safety and sustainability within the maritime sector.
  • Digitalisation in Maritime Industry: Discussing the integration of digital technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Energy Transition and LNG’s Role: Examining the shift towards cleaner energy sources, with a focus on liquefied natural gas (LNG).
  • Financing Advanced Fleets: Addressing the financial aspects of developing technologically advanced and environmentally friendly fleets.
