The Chinese online fashion retailer Shein is investing in its European logistics by expanding its distribution platform in Wrocław, Poland, by €500 million. The project, announced on 5 November 2026, brings the company’s total investment in the country since 2022 to €1 billion.

The expansion will increase the warehouse’s floor space by 25 percent, to one million square meters. The upgraded facility will also utilize over 6,500 autonomous robots to help with inventory replenishment, parcel sorting and order picking, further automating operations at one of Shein's key European logistics locations.

Shein is partnering with real estate developer Logicor to expand its logistics footprint in Lower Silesia.

The Wrocław platform is an important element in serving Shein customers in European markets. In some countries the company is able to provide a 48-hour delivery for products stocked in the Polish facility. The extra capacity is expected to make its distribution network more efficient and responsive across the region.

“The investment is to develop more efficient, flexible and resilient European operations,” said Leonard Lin, Shein’s Global Head of Public Affairs and President for EMEA. He also noted the company’s aim to support European brands and retailers selling on the Shein Marketplace.

Shein has been present in Poland since 2022, and its activities in the country are growing beyond just warehouses. By the end of 2026, the number of workers in logistics, supply chain management, technology, and warehousing is expected to grow to 10,000 employees. Thanks to this, the company will be one of the largest employers in Lower Silesia.

The investment also has ramifications for the local business ecosystem. More than 230 Polish small and medium-sized enterprises are already supplying goods and services to Shein, among them transportation, packaging and professional services.

With this latest commitment, Shein is strengthening Poland’s role in its European distribution strategy, expanding its operational capacity, automation capabilities and network of local business partners.
