In a move signaling its ambition for aggressive commercial expansion and client-focused innovation, Weber Logistics has appointed David Sosnowski as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With over two decades of executive experience across the logistics and transportation sectors, Sosnowski brings a deep understanding of strategic growth, customer success, and integrated supply chain solutions to one of the West Coast’s most established third-party logistics providers.

The announcement comes as Weber Logistics intensifies its efforts to evolve from a regional warehousing operator into a full-scale, tech-forward logistics partner capable of managing multi-channel fulfillment, value-added distribution, and complex transportation services across the western United States.

A Proven Leader in Logistics Transformation

Sosnowski’s track record includes senior leadership roles in both asset-based and non-asset-based logistics firms. Known for his ability to align commercial functions with operational execution, he has consistently delivered top-line growth, enhanced customer retention, and strategic account development in highly competitive markets.

“David brings not only extensive industry knowledge but a sharp focus on the customer experience and market innovation,” said Louis Weber, CEO of Weber Logistics. “His leadership will be instrumental as we expand our footprint and enhance the breadth and sophistication of our service offerings.”

Commercial Strategy in a Changing Market

As CCO, Sosnowski will oversee all revenue-generating functions, including sales, marketing, solutions engineering, and customer relationship management. His appointment reflects Weber’s strategy to further penetrate key verticals—such as consumer goods, food and beverage, retail, and health and beauty—where demand for agile, tech-integrated logistics solutions continues to grow.

The logistics industry is undergoing seismic change, driven by e-commerce acceleration, heightened service expectations, and regionalized inventory strategies. Sosnowski’s mandate includes positioning Weber to lead amid these shifts by strengthening its commercial capabilities and driving long-term customer value.

“We’re seeing clients ask for more than space and transportation—they want strategic partnerships,” Sosnowski said. “That’s where Weber stands out: a combination of West Coast specialization, deep operational expertise, and a culture committed to going beyond the standard 3PL model.”

West Coast Roots, National Vision

Headquartered in Southern California, Weber Logistics has built a reputation over the past century as a go-to provider for port-centric distribution, drayage, and final-mile delivery solutions. The company operates a network of modern distribution centers and temperature-controlled facilities across California and the Pacific Northwest, supported by a robust transportation fleet and advanced warehouse management systems.

With Sosnowski’s arrival, Weber aims to align its commercial and operational strategies even more closely, using data, automation, and personalized service models to deepen engagement with both existing and new customers.

Investing in People, Processes, and Platforms

Sosnowski’s appointment is part of a broader leadership evolution at Weber, which includes investments in talent acquisition, digital infrastructure, and customer-facing technology platforms. The goal: to offer shippers a logistics experience that balances high performance with partnership.

As the 3PL landscape grows increasingly competitive, Weber is betting on the strength of seasoned leadership and a client-first approach to cut through the noise—and Sosnowski is central to that plan.
