Wamos Air has renewed its long-term partnership with ULD management specialist Jettainer, extending a relationship that began in 2018.
The Madrid-based charter airline said the renewed contract will ensure the continued provision of modern cargo containers and reliable operational support across its network.
According to Jettainer, the agreement includes a dedicated ULD fleet tailored to Wamos Air’s specific requirements. That fleet will be dynamically adjusted according to operational needs and managed through Jettainer’s digital platform, JettwareNG.
Founded in 2003 and based at Barajas International Airport, Wamos Air has been part of the Abra Group since October 2024. Abra is currently the second-largest aviation group in Latin America.
Today, the airline focuses on short- and long-term charter operations as well as ACMI services for passenger and cargo flights on behalf of other carriers, using a fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft.
Salvador Martínez, vice president of operations at Wamos Air, said Jettainer has been a dependable partner from the beginning and that its operational performance fits closely with the airline’s own quality standards. He added that the partnership gives Wamos Air access to comprehensive ULD support and the flexibility to secure additional capacity whenever required for wet lease operations.
