Globalia Logistics Network is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of connecting independent freight forwarders and creating business opportunities across international markets.

The network, which today brings together freight forwarding companies represented in 120 countries, is marking the milestone with a refreshed visual identity and a new tagline: “Forward. Together.”

Founded in 2016 with 30 members, Globalia has grown into a global community of independent freight forwarders. At its peak, the organisation brought together more than 220 forwarding companies.

Rather than focusing on unrestricted membership growth, Globalia has maintained a selective approach to expansion. Prospective members are assessed according to factors including their experience, financial position and reliability before being admitted to the network.

Antonio Torres, President and Founder of Globalia Logistics Network, said the organisation was never established simply to become the largest freight forwarding network.

“Globalia was never created to be the largest freight forwarding network. Our objective has always been to bring together reliable companies and build a network where members receive personal attention and have real opportunities to develop business together,” Torres said.

He also credited the network’s members with driving its development over the past decade.

“But above all, it is our members who have made Globalia grow. What began as a network has become a close international community that, over the years, we have come to consider a family. Their trust and commitment are what have allowed us to reach this milestone,” he added.

Members describe the network as providing benefits that extend beyond commercial connections.

Paul and Silvana Petrovski of PCFS said Globalia had helped their company work with trusted partners internationally while making it easier to enter markets where establishing business relationships can otherwise be challenging.

“Globalia has opened up the world to us, allowing us to work with trusted and reliable partners and reach countries where doing business can otherwise be difficult because of trust. It has also helped us grow our business through the network,” they said.

Mauricio Regner of CIS Global Services highlighted another dimension of the organisation, pointing to the personal relationships developed between members over the years.

“It is not just about the business opportunities or growth, but also about the human side. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to get to know members personally and build relationships that go beyond business,” Regner said.

Over its first 10 years, Globalia has also broadened the range of resources and services available to its members. These include international promotional campaigns, marketing and social media support, and FreightViewer, the network’s online quotation tool.

Members can also access professional development opportunities through partnerships with CIFFA and TraversEd.

The anniversary has prompted Globalia to introduce its updated visual identity and logo under the new “Forward. Together.” slogan. The organisation said the refreshed identity is intended to represent its evolution while retaining the principles that have underpinned the network since its creation: collaboration, reliability, personal support and long-term business relationships.

Torres said the 10-year milestone should also be seen as the beginning of another stage for the network.

“Ten years is an important milestone, but it is also a starting point,” he said. “Our next stage will focus on creating greater visibility and stronger business opportunities for our members, developing more effective digital tools and continuing to provide the personalised support that has always been a part of Globalia.”

The anniversary celebrations will continue from 26 to 28 October 2026, when Globalia hosts its 7th Annual Meeting at the InterContinental Bangkok in Thailand.

The event will bring members together for one-to-one business meetings, networking opportunities and discussions aimed at developing new partnerships.
