Aurrigo International plc has announced the opening of a new advanced manufacturing hub in the United Kingdom, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and industrial capability.
The new site, located at Power Park in Coventry, will soon begin production of autonomous vehicles and becomes the company’s UK centre for engineering, manufacturing and ongoing automotive activities.
The facility measures 130,615 square feet, more than three times larger than Aurrigo’s current site.
The expansion follows the company’s £14.1 million fundraising completed at the end of last year to support global growth.
Aurrigo said the new investment directly supports its recently launched international hub and licensing programme, aimed at accelerating commercialisation through partnerships in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the United States.
The site will also support delivery of the £6.28 million contract with Ultra Global for 25 autonomous guided vehicles.
At full capacity, Aurrigo believes the plant could manufacture more than 500 autonomous vehicles annually, subject to customer demand.
Chief executive Prof. David Keene said the centre strengthens manufacturing and engineering capabilities, provides room to scale with demand and supports long-term capital-efficient growth.
The turnkey premises already include IT systems, fitted offices, EV charging infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, allowing rapid ramp-up.
The site also includes space for an on-site autonomous vehicle test track, enabling validation, customer demonstrations and faster development cycles.
Chairman Andrew Cornish said the project reflects disciplined investment following the recent fundraising and gives the business the operational headroom required for expansion.
Located in Coventry, the site places Aurrigo at the centre of the UK’s growing electrification and clean mobility ecosystem.
