Chapman Freeborn has appointed Danish Cutleriwala as country manager for India as the charter broker looks to deepen its presence in one of its key growth markets.
Cutleriwala will be based in Mumbai and will oversee the company’s operations across the country. His brief includes driving commercial growth in both cargo and passenger charter services, while also expanding Chapman Freeborn’s footprint through strategic partnerships and stronger customer engagement.
He joins the company with more than 19 years of experience across logistics, freight forwarding and supply chain. Most recently, he worked for Sciens Logistics, where he led regional operations across Asia Pacific and the Middle East and was involved in business transformation initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at FedEx, Crane Worldwide Logistics and Wiz Freight, where his responsibilities included commercial growth, the expansion of freight forwarding activities and the management of key global accounts.
Linas Dovydenas, president of Chapman Freeborn for India, the Middle East and Asia, described India as a strategically important market with strong opportunities in both cargo and passenger charter services.
He said Cutleriwala’s industry experience, commercial judgement and deep knowledge of the regional market make him well suited to lead the company’s operations in India and support its long-term growth plans.
For his part, Cutleriwala said India offers significant potential and that he looks forward to working with the team to strengthen the company’s market presence, build strategic partnerships and deliver tailored charter solutions to customers.
