Construction has started on the Goldpark Castlemore project in Brampton, Ontario. The project will deliver more than 622,000 square feet of industrial space.
The multi-phase development is being built by Glenshore Investments Inc. at the intersection of Castlemore Road and Highway 50.
First stage of two buildings being built
The initial phase of the project consists of two industrial buildings.
Building A will be approximately 105,300 square feet and Building B will be an additional 89,000 square feet.
A third building, Building C, is proposed to be approximately 428,000 square feet in size.
When complete, the three buildings will provide about 622,300 square feet of combined development space, establishing a significant new industrial footprint for Brampton.
Project team brings industry experts together
The project has a number of engineering, construction and design partners.
The general contractor and builder is Hady Construction Associates. Candevcon Ltd. is responsible for civil engineering.
Architect is Ware Malcomb ULC and structural engineering by Gravity Engineering Inc.
Pensar Group is providing mechanical engineering services and MJA Engineering Ltd. is providing electrical engineering.
This breakthrough is the beginning of significant industrial investment in the area, creating new space to support business and logistics activity in one of Brampton’s growing employment corridors.
