Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Lee I’Ons as the new Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region. With over three decades of experience in the logistics sector, I’Ons brings extensive industry knowledge and a strategic vision to drive Hellmann’s growth across these key markets.


Lee I’Ons’ Professional Journey & Expertise

✅ Extensive Industry Experience
I’Ons began his career in logistics in Durban, South Africa, before joining Kühne+Nagel, where he held multiple leadership roles over 26 years, including National Manager for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and President for the Middle East and Africa regions.

✅ A Vision for IMEA Growth
In his new role, I’Ons will focus on expanding Hellmann’s presence in rapidly growing economies such as India, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, while unlocking potential opportunities in emerging African markets.

I’Ons takes over from Madhav Kurup, who led the IMEA region since 2008 and has now been promoted to Hellmann’s global management board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Airfreight, Seafreight, and Contract Logistics.
