Tata Consultancy Services and Swissport International have extended and expanded their long-running strategic partnership by a further five years, deepening a collaboration that now places artificial intelligence and digital modernization at the center of Swissport’s next phase of growth.

Under the renewed agreement, TCS will support the continued modernization of Swissport’s technology environment, helping the ground handling giant scale AI-enabled services, strengthen data platforms and expand hybrid cloud operations across its global network.

The aim is not only to modernize infrastructure, but to help Swissport respond faster to the demands of a rapidly changing aviation environment. TCS said it will use AI to reinforce IT service operations, improve resilience, ensure more consistent service delivery and enhance employee experience in mission-critical ground operations.

The companies said the partnership has already delivered measurable gains over the past decade, including better service stability, stronger operational efficiency and faster time to market. Together, they have built a scalable and secure digital backbone by combining data integration, automation and user-centered design.

That work has improved turnaround efficiency, increased operational visibility and accelerated the rollout of digital capabilities across regions, according to the companies.

Dave Lynch, group chief information officer at Swissport International, said the long-standing relationship with TCS has played an essential role in strengthening the digital foundation of Swissport’s global operations. He added that the renewed partnership will help the company continue innovating at scale, reinforce operational excellence and support its long-term growth strategy.

Arun Pradeep Surendra Mohan, business head for travel, transportation and hospitality across EMEA and APAC at TCS, said the group’s focus has been to combine aviation sector expertise with cloud, data and AI-led innovation to produce measurable operational results. He said the next phase of the partnership will accelerate jointly developed solutions and help Swissport operate with greater agility, reliability and long-term readiness.

The expanded collaboration is expected to further scale AI-driven services and data platforms in support of Swissport’s operational vision, creating a more agile and data-led model for future growth.

The impact of the partnership was also recognized recently by Swissport itself, which named TCS its Innovation Partner of the Year 2025 for contributions to operational intelligence, next-generation digital capabilities and data-driven decision-making across the company’s worldwide operations.
