Air Charter Service (ACS) has appointed Timo Kaden as its new Cargo Business Development Director for Germany, strengthening its cargo leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence across the country.
Based at ACS’s Frankfurt office, Kaden brings 30 years of experience in the logistics industry to the role. His career also includes 19 years dedicated to cargo aircraft chartering, where he has gained extensive experience across both operational and commercial activities.
According to Caroline Werf, CEO of ACS Germany, Kaden’s broad industry background and extensive network within the airfreight sector will be a valuable asset to the company.
“Timo brings with him 30 years of logistics expertise – he has worked for some of the biggest names in freight forwarding and has a wealth of contacts in the airfreight business,” Werf said.
She added that his 19 years of experience in cargo aircraft chartering, covering both operations and sales, have given him a comprehensive understanding of the sector and its various aspects.
“In recent years we have significantly increased our presence in Germany, and we now have four offices across the country, in Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart and here in Frankfurt,” Werf explained. “Timo’s experience will help build and guide our growing team of cargo experts, with his vast knowledge and expertise.”
The appointment comes as ACS continues to develop its German operations and strengthen its cargo team and customer relationships throughout the country.
Kaden said he was looking forward to beginning the next stage of his career with the company, building on the professional relationships he has developed throughout Germany during his career.
“I have worked in the cargo business in Germany for my entire career and am looking forward to starting this new chapter building on business relationships across the country,” he said.
“We have an amazing cargo team here and I’m looking forward to working closely with them going forward.”
