Menzies Aviation has started the roll-out of a digital truck management system at its air cargo facilities in Prague and Vancouver, the first phase of a wider drive to enhance truck scheduling, reduce congestion and increase coordination across its global cargo network.
Both locations have put Nallian’s Truck Visit Management (TVM) platform into action. The solution enables trucking companies to digitally book time slots, validate drivers and vehicles and helps coordinate movements within cargo yards.
The launch follows a global roll-out plan that was unveiled in October 2025. Menzies will roll out the platform in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland in January 2027, expanding its initial footprint to five sites that handle more than 500,000 tons of cargo a year in aggregate.
Improving the flow of trucks and the movement of cargo
Transport operators can pre-book arrival slots, providing Menzies’ warehouse teams with a better understanding of incoming vehicle movements. This visibility is to help the company to manage peak demand, limit queues and better coordinate drivers, freight forwarders and warehouse personnel when transferring cargo.
The system also aims to improve the predictability of truck movements and decrease the need for manual coordination between the different parties involved in handling air cargo.
Menzies’ cargo management system integration
Nallian’s TVM platform is integrated to Menzies Aviation Cargo Handling (MACH), a cloud-based cargo management solution developed by the company and Wipro. MACH is now live in 53 Menzies locations.
The integration gives warehouse and yard teams a common, real-time view of truck activity at each participating station. The system brings this information together, helping cargo teams to plan vehicle movements and handovers more effectively and supporting better operational coordination.
“The technology will provide trucking companies with more certainty, while cargo teams will have better visibility of incoming vehicles,” said Beau Paine, Executive Vise President, Cargo, Menzies Aviation.
Nallian’s TVM gives trucking companies more certainty and our cargo teams more visibility of incoming vehicles.” “It removes the need for manual coordination and supports our broader strategy to deliver safer, more efficient and more predictable cargo operations, with a better experience for our customers,” Paine said.
Five locations in phase one
Nallian said the launches in Prague and Vancouver show how the same digital solution can be applied across cargo operations with different local requirements.
Every new implementation is a contribution to a repeatable deployment model that can be rolled out across the network,” said Jean Verheyen, CEO of Nallian.
The launches in Prague and Vancouver show how the same platform can be rolled out across cargo operations with different local needs. “We are looking forward to Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland joining the network in the new year,” Verheyen said. “Each station that goes live adds to a proven, repeatable model.
Menzies Aviation plans to roll out digital truck scheduling and real-time vehicle visibility across five cargo sites with planned expansions in January 2027. This is part of a broader company initiative to increase safety, operational efficiency and predictability of cargo handling for its customers.
