1. Expansion of UPS® Pickup Points

UPS has expanded its Pickup Point service to additional countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, and Austria. These locations join the existing network in the U.K., Germany, Italy, France, and Spain.

The service offers a “many-to-one” reverse logistics solution, allowing for the collection of specimens from multiple sites and delivery to a central laboratory. This enhancement provides:

  • Pickup Confirmation: Visibility at every stage of the supply chain.

2. Introduction of UPS® Premier Platinum

UPS has introduced the UPS® Premier Platinum service across Europe, providing an advanced monitoring solution for sensitive healthcare shipments. This service includes:

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Tracks temperature, light, and humidity to protect sensitive medical products.
  • Quick Intervention: Enables immediate action in case of shipment delays, temperature deviations, or other issues.
  • Scalable Features: Designed to meet the needs of healthcare providers with a simple activation process and control tower monitoring.
