A. Duie Pyle strengthens its LTL network with new facilities in Ohio and Pennsylvania
The US transport and logistics company has opened a 44-door less-than-truckload terminal in the Cincinnati area and a 78,760-square-foot warehouse in central Pennsylvania, extending its direct-service coverage and expanding its integrated logistics capabilities.

A. Duie Pyle is expanding its less-than-truckload (LTL) network in the United States at a rapid clip with a new 44-door service center in the Cincinnati area, southwestern Ohio. The opening comes just two weeks after the company opened a nearly 79,000-square-foot warehouse in Camp Hill, Pa., boosting its transportation and distribution capacity in a handful of key freight markets.
The latest moves are part of a broader investment strategy to extend the company’s reach beyond its traditional Northeast stronghold. In the past few months, the carrier has launched a number of initiatives to strengthen its network, expand its geographic footprint and gain greater control of its freight operations.
In January, FreightWaves reported that A. Duie Pyle had purchased a 43-acre site at the Port 460 Logistics Center in Suffolk, Virginia, near the Port of Virginia. Over the last year, the company has also expanded into cross-border freight transportation between the U.S. and Mexico.
A. Duie Pyle, based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, said Tuesday that its new Cincinnati facility will improve freight connections between the Midwest and its current markets throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Cincinnati Terminal to Boost Regional Growth
The new service center is expected to initially create 21 jobs with the company growing to around 36 employees by the end of 2026, the company said.
The investment for A. Duie Pyle is designed to move its operations closer to its customers and to create greater linkages between the markets it serves. “The network expansion is driven by the need to strengthen regional links and establish a presence where customers require our services,” said Frank Granieri, the company’s chief commercial officer, in a news release.
The Cincinnati opening is also part of a westward expansion plan announced in 2025. The carrier at the time said it planned to open additional service centers in Ohio to help improve transit times and reduce its reliance on partner carriers.
“We are looking at new terminals in Columbus, Toledo and Cincinnati to cover more of our direct overnight service,” John Luciani, chief operating officer for LTL operations at Pyle, told FreightWaves in March 2025.
As part of that program, A. Duie Pyle bought a former Yellow Corp. terminal in Bowling Green, Ohio, to service the Toledo market. The company also leased a facility in Columbus to bolster its presence in the state.
The Cincinnati terminal is another step in this policy. The carrier could reduce intermediate handoffs and improve consistency of service to customers by shifting more freight traffic within southwestern Ohio directly to its own network.

Camp Hill warehouse blends storage, transportation
The Ohio opening follows the company’s announcement Oct. 6 that it would build a new 78,760-square-foot warehouse in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
The warehouse will be situated adjacent to A. Duie Pyle’s existing LTL service center, forming an integrated logistics campus that merges inventory storage and freight movement. The company can carry out the warehousing and distribution activities from the same location.
The Camp Hill site is located near several major freight corridors, including Interstates 81, 76 and 83, and U.S. Route 15. These connections support freight movements throughout central Pennsylvania and to nearby markets.
The facility is especially well suited for healthcare, medical supplies and manufacturing customers, said A. Duie Pyle. These sectors often rely on reliable inventory on hand and just-in-time replenishment to ensure the continuity of operations.
The concept of warehousing and transport infrastructure is therefore aimed at serving customers with demanding distribution needs and expanding the company’s range of logistics services.
Wider expansion beyond the Northeast
A. Duie Pyle is a family owned and operated transportation and logistics company founded in 1924. It offers less-than-truckload trucking, dedicated transport, warehousing and freight brokerage services.
The new Ohio and Pennsylvania facilities are a part of the company’s push to create a larger direct-service network and to integrate transportation and storage capabilities. Both these projects and the company’s investments in Virginia and forays into US–Mexico cross-border freight serve as a demonstration of the strategy to improve regional reach and expand its logistics offering.
Why This Matters: A. Duie Pyle’s investment will enhance its direct-service capabilities in Ohio, while also increasing transportation and warehousing integration in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. “This move will help the company decrease its dependence on partner carriers, speed transit times, and offer customers more dependable freight and inventory management services.”
