Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is expanding its global network for the 2026/27 winter season, adding Cairo, Punta Cana and Malé while bringing back a number of seasonal services.
The new winter schedule will run from Sunday, October 25, 2026, through Saturday, March 27, 2027. From its two main hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), Air France KLM Martinair Cargo plans to serve 14 freighter destinations, 112 wide-body belly destinations worldwide, including destinations covered through joint venture partner Delta, and 54 destinations across Europe.
The company said it remains focused on expanding its network each season by introducing new opportunities for customers while maintaining selected seasonal services.
Cairo joins the freighter network
Air France will introduce Cairo (CAI), Egypt, to its dedicated freighter network with three weekly services operated by Boeing 777F aircraft.
The new route will provide customers with dedicated main-deck cargo capacity between Europe and North Africa, without relying on passenger flight operations.
In India, Air France will also adjust its freighter operation this winter. Its Boeing 777F service will operate through Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI) instead of Mumbai (BOM), with two weekly flights.
Meanwhile, the KLM/Martinair Boeing 747 freighter network will continue connecting Amsterdam with major markets across the Americas, Africa and Asia.
Services between Amsterdam and Seoul (ICN) will operate three times a week during the winter season. One will be operated as a standalone flight, while two will be combined with Hong Kong (HKG) services, increasing dedicated capacity on the ICN route.
The Amsterdam Schiphol hub will also provide customers with onward connections throughout the carrier’s wider global network.
Punta Cana and Malé added to wide-body belly network
The group is also expanding its passenger aircraft belly capacity from Paris Charles de Gaulle.
Punta Cana (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic will join the network with three weekly Boeing 777-300ER services from November. Malé (MLE) in the Maldives will follow in December, with two weekly Airbus A350-900 services.
Several seasonal routes will also return for the winter, including services to Ottawa (YOW), Canada, and Barbados (BGI).
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will continue working with joint venture partner Delta Cargo to provide substantial cargo capacity on North Atlantic routes connecting Europe with North America.
The group’s global interline partnerships will further extend its reach, allowing customers to access additional destinations beyond its own operated network.
54 European destinations feed the global network
Within Europe, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will operate a narrow-body belly network covering 54 destinations.
These services feed the company’s Paris and Amsterdam hubs and are complemented by an intra-European trucking network. Together, the air and road connections are designed to provide customers across the continent with fast and reliable access to the group’s intercontinental network.
“Winter is a demanding season for our customers, from the year-end peak to the flower season in the run-up to Valentine’s Day,” said Pierre-Olivier Bandet, Executive Vice President Cargo at Air France-KLM.
“We combine dedicated main deck capacity with the reach of our wide-body and European belly networks via Paris and Amsterdam. With our new services to Cairo, Punta Cana and Malé, we offer our customers reliable capacity, flexibility and more choice throughout the season.”
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo said it remains committed to providing the freight market with broad network options throughout the year.
For the 2026/27 winter season, the company has published network maps covering its freighter, wide-body belly and narrow-body belly operations. These maps provide an overview of the planned destinations and the services available across the network.
