Global GSA Group has been appointed General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) for Asiana Airlines Cargo in France and Germany, giving the airline broader commercial support in two of Europe’s most important export markets.
The agreement is intended to maintain sales continuity and operational stability while Asiana Cargo continues to integrate into the wider Korean Air structure.
In both France and Germany, the partnership is focused on supporting strong Asia-bound cargo flows, particularly into South Korea and Japan, while making the best use of available capacity across Asiana’s passenger network and wider cargo offering.
Exports from both countries are routed through Seoul Incheon, providing access not only to Northeast Asia but also to onward global destinations.
Under the deal, Global GSA Group will provide a full commercial and operational service package in both markets, including sales, business development, reservations, billing, marketing support, operational coordination and day-to-day customer service.
Germany remains one of Europe’s strongest industrial export markets and generates high air cargo demand, while France plays an important role in consolidated cargo and diversified export flows, with added emphasis on specialist cargo segments and passenger capacity optimisation.
The GSSA said its role in both countries will also include disciplined capacity management and close alignment with freight forwarders to ensure consistent commercial performance.
Aytekin Saray, chief executive of Global GSA Group, described France and Germany as cornerstone markets for Asian trade flows and said the company’s strength lies in combining local market expertise with structured capacity management across a broad range of commodities.
Together, Asiana Airlines Cargo and Global GSA Group said they aim to provide freight forwarders with reliable and organised access to Asia, backed by local expertise and consistent service standards.
