CEVA Logistics is growing its air cargo network between Asia and the United States with a new charter route from Hanoi to Chicago, while also restarting its Wuxi–Chicago service after a successful first year.
The Hanoi route will run three times a week on a Boeing 777 freighter, giving businesses in Vietnam another option for shipping goods to the U.S. It is expected to support sectors such as manufacturing, technology, retail and e-commerce.
The Wuxi service is also returning with two flights a week, this time operated by CMA CGM Air Cargo. Each flight will be able to carry up to 100 tonnes of cargo, giving exporters more consistent space on one of the world’s busiest trade lanes.
Both services will feed into CEVA’s logistics hub near Chicago O’Hare, where shipments can be sorted, cleared through customs and sent to destinations across North America.
Customers will also have the option to reduce emissions by using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) through CEVA’s FORPLANET programme.
Loic Gay, Vice President of Global Air and Ocean Operations at CEVA Logistics, said the new flights reflect growing demand for dependable air freight services between Asia and the United States, particularly as Vietnam continues to attract more manufacturing investment and businesses look for stable shipping capacity.
