Regional Divisions for Greater Impact
Starting in January 2025, the Quality Panel will operate under a new regional structure:
- Western Division:
- Chair: Metaxia Psalti (Neda Maritime)
- Vice-Chair: Tasos Karlis (Virono)
- Eastern Division:
- Chair: Debashis Sen (Swire Bulk)
- Vice-Chair: Capt. Uttam Kumar Jaiswal (Pacific Basin)
This reorganization allows INTERCARGO to engage more effectively with its worldwide membership, accommodating different time zones and streamlining communication. It also reinforces INTERCARGO’s commitment to global collaboration by bringing together leading figures from the maritime sector.

In a recent meeting with RightShip, INTERCARGO addressed key concerns raised by its members and identified new pathways for innovation.
