Link Logistics is expanding its last-mile warehouse presence in two of the United States’ key logistics markets with the acquisition of four facilities across Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and Atlanta.
The final-mile warehouse operator announced the purchase of the Gateway Infill Growth Portfolio from Oxford Properties Group, adding a combined 697,276 square feet of industrial space to a portfolio where it already maintains a significant presence.
“Our acquisition strategy is focused on expanding Link Logistics’ portfolio in infill-focused locations that are supported by strong long-term demand drivers,” said Andrew Goodman, senior managing director of investments at Link Logistics. “This portfolio reflects our continued conviction in Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta and adds well-located distribution assets in markets where we have achieved meaningful scale.”
In Texas, properties located in Irving and Grand Prairie account for nearly 400,000 square feet of the acquired portfolio. The transaction also includes a 249,000-square-foot facility in Suwanee, Georgia, along with a smaller property in Farmers Branch, Texas.
The acquisition further strengthens Link Logistics’ already substantial operating footprint in both markets. The company now operates more than 34 million square feet in Dallas-Fort Worth and over 38 million square feet in the Atlanta area.
Across North America, Link Logistics operates approximately 3,000 properties totaling 500 million square feet.
“Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta continue to see strong logistics demand as population growth and business investment support durable industrial fundamentals,” said Laura Hyde, managing director of Investments at Link Logistics.
JLL (NYSE: JLL) represented Oxford Properties Group in the transaction.
Why it matters?
The acquisition gives Link Logistics additional strategically located properties in two major logistics corridors, strengthening its last-mile network and expanding access to scaled distribution facilities for supply chain operators. The investment also reflects continued demand for industrial real estate supported by population growth and sustained business investment in Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta.
