Magma Aviation has appointed Chapman Freeborn Greater China as its General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for the Greater China region, strengthening the two companies’ cooperation in the air cargo market.
The agreement covers mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan and Macau SAR. Chapman Freeborn Greater China has already been supporting Magma Aviation’s commercial and operational activities since the carrier introduced its scheduled Boeing 747-400F freighter services in China.
Expanding cargo charter opportunities
Under the new appointment, Chapman Freeborn Greater China will work closely with Magma Aviation to expand access to the carrier’s long-term and ad-hoc air cargo charter services across the region.
The local team will provide dedicated commercial, customer and operational support, helping customers manage their cargo requirements and access suitable air freight capacity.
The partnership also brings together two brands within the Chapman Freeborn Group, combining Magma Aviation’s cargo capabilities with Chapman Freeborn’s regional market knowledge and customer network.
For customers across Greater China, the collaboration is expected to provide wider access to specialised air cargo solutions while creating a more integrated service covering commercial support, operations and charter requirements.
