Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has joined Pharma.Aero as a Strategic Member, reinforcing the organisation’s international network of stakeholders working to address the increasingly complex demands of healthcare and pharmaceutical supply chains.
The move brings one of Europe’s major aviation hubs into a global community dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical logistics through collaboration, innovation, resilience and sustainability.
With more than 300 direct destinations worldwide, Schiphol plays an important role in supporting international passenger and cargo flows. Its new role within Pharma.Aero will allow the airport to contribute its connectivity, operational expertise and industry knowledge to initiatives focused on the future of healthcare logistics.
Beyond its membership, Schiphol is expected to take an active part in Pharma.Aero’s strategic discussions and cross-industry projects. These initiatives bring together pharmaceutical manufacturers, logistics providers, airports, airlines, technology companies and academic institutions to develop solutions for the evolving needs of healthcare supply chains.

Frank Van Gelder, Secretary General of Pharma.Aero, welcomed Schiphol’s decision to become a Strategic Airport Member, highlighting the airport’s connectivity, international reach and experience.
