UPS has significantly expanded its Happy Returns network, adding more than 1,700 new drop-off locations and bringing the total to 10,000 sites nationwide.
The expansion includes partnerships with authorized UPS shipping outlets, particularly locations operated by Annex Brands and PackageHub Business Centers.
These sites function as Return Bars, allowing consumers to drop off items without packaging or labels — a model designed to simplify the returns process while reducing logistics costs through consolidation.
With this expansion, approximately 79% of the U.S. population now lives within five miles of a Return Bar, improving accessibility and convenience for consumers.
UPS said the move reinforces Happy Returns’ position as the largest consolidated returns network in the country, significantly ahead of competing solutions.
The company also emphasized that expansion remains strategic, ensuring each location receives sufficient volume to support efficient operations.
