Wison Group has officially strengthened its presence in the Middle East with the opening of a new subsidiary and regional office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The move is another milestone in the company’s long-term international growth strategy and enhances its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities across the region.
This expansion follows the opening of Wison’s first overseas office in the Middle East, in Saudi Arabia, in 2008. Since then the company has gradually increased its activities across the region, supporting an ever-growing portfolio of engineering and industrial projects.
The company said the Abu Dhabi office is a strategic milestone in the development of Wison Engineering in the Middle East, deepening the company’s regional footprint and positioning it as an important hub for future international development.
Zhou Hongliang, CEO of Wison Engineering, said the new office is an important milestone for the company’s overseas expansion. Abu Dhabi subsidiary will be central to supporting Wison’s long-term ambitions in the Middle East and bolstering its position in the global engineering market, he said.
With the new facility now in operation, Wison Engineering expects to work closer with local customers, improve on-site project execution and enhance co-ordination of regional resources. The company believes the expanded presence will also make it more responsive to clients and improve delivery of engineering services throughout the region.
