Rhenus Logistics and MIE Events have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that formalises a long-term global partnership focused on exhibition and summit logistics.

The agreement, signed at MIE Events’ headquarters in Dubai, appoints Rhenus as Global Logistics Partner for MIE Events worldwide and is designed to support the organiser’s expanding international portfolio with end-to-end logistics solutions.

The MoU was signed by Zahoor Ahmed, vice president of MIE Groups, and Anas Al Arid, regional manager – exhibitions and fairs at Rhenus Logistics UAE. Both companies said the agreement lays the foundation for closer operational cooperation across international exhibitions and events.

Under the partnership, Rhenus will provide on-ground logistics support across all territories, supporting exhibitors, partners and suppliers with international freight management, local execution and consistent service standards from one event to the next.

The agreement also extends to CTW Global 2026, where Rhenus will serve as a strategic logistics partner, contributing operational expertise to support dialogue and knowledge exchange across the logistics and supply chain sector.

Zahoor Ahmed said the partnership marks an important milestone for MIE Groups as it continues to build its international portfolio. In his view, logistics is a critical enabler of successful exhibitions, and having a trusted global partner makes it possible to deliver a high-quality and consistent experience for exhibitors and stakeholders across all markets. He described the collaboration as the beginning of a long-term journey spanning Asia, the GCC, MENA and the United States.

Anas Al Arid said Rhenus is proud to support this milestone with both MIE Groups and CTW Global. By combining its global network with strong local expertise, he said the company aims to add tangible value to the event ecosystem while helping exhibitors and customers navigate their logistics challenges. He added that Rhenus remains committed to reliable, hands-on support across every logistics touchpoint as the partnership develops.

Through the agreement, Rhenus continues to strengthen its position as a trusted logistics partner for the global exhibitions and events sector, with a focus on practical end-to-end solutions that simplify operations and deliver on-the-ground results.
