Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics division of Etihad Airways, has unveiled the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub, becoming the first airline to launch a dedicated logistics training academy for the global air cargo sector.
Designed to reinforce operational excellence throughout the supply chain, the new platform aims to improve quality standards at every stage of cargo handling while strengthening risk management and ensuring consistent operational practices across Etihad Cargo’s international network.
The Excellence Hub is open to a broad audience, including Etihad Cargo representatives, business partners, customers, stakeholders and air cargo professionals worldwide. Its curriculum covers the airline’s operational procedures, product and service portfolio, safety requirements, regulatory compliance and a range of industry-recognised certification programmes developed in partnership with accredited educational institutions.
To help attract the next generation of logistics professionals, Etihad Cargo is also providing free access to university students, giving them the opportunity to develop industry knowledge and build careers in the rapidly evolving air cargo sector.
The digital platform incorporates artificial intelligence to deliver personalised learning experiences, including individual performance tracking and tailored feedback. Built with a mobile-first approach, it enables users to access training materials anytime and from anywhere, offering greater flexibility for professionals across different markets.
Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said the initiative brings together operational expertise, industry knowledge and recognised learning pathways within a single platform, helping to raise professional standards across the global air cargo ecosystem.
Dr Nadia Al Bastaki, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, added that the Excellence Hub reflects the airline’s long-term commitment to investing in people by making high-quality learning more accessible and creating opportunities for both newcomers and experienced professionals to strengthen their skills while supporting the future growth of the air cargo industry.
