Silk Way West Airlines is expanding the digital reach of its cargo services through an enhanced partnership with CargoAi, opening access to its capacity, pricing and electronic booking services to more than 30,000 freight forwarders across key markets in the United States, Europe and Asia.
The latest development builds on the digital partnership announced at Air Cargo China 2026 in Shanghai. The expanded integration now allows freight forwarders to book general cargo, lithium batteries and dangerous goods through CargoMART. It also connects the airline directly to leading Transport Management Systems (TMS) through CargoCONNECT, extending booking access across different digital platforms while improving visibility and automation.
The move represents another step in Silk Way West Airlines’ digital transformation strategy, which aims to make its global cargo capacity and services easier to access through the platforms freight forwarders already use. While the initial agreement established the foundations for improved rate visibility and future digital booking capabilities, the expanded integration turns those objectives into a broader distribution offering for customers.
Through CargoAi’s digital ecosystem, freight forwarders can access the airline’s capacity across multiple booking environments. This gives them greater flexibility when comparing rates, identifying available space and managing shipments. The combination of CargoMART and CargoCONNECT is designed to streamline these processes, improve accessibility and deliver a faster, more seamless booking experience.
“Expanding our digital distribution in retail is an important part of how we continue to evolve our customer experience,” said Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines. “Through our partnership with CargoAi, freight forwarders now have another way to access our capacity, rates, and services through the digital channels they use every day. By making our offering more visible and easier to book, we are creating a more efficient customer journey while continuing to strengthen the digital capabilities of our global network.”
For CargoAi, the expanded integration brings together the airline’s dedicated widebody freighter capacity and international network with a digital ecosystem designed to simplify access to air cargo services and pricing.
“We are proud to continue developing our partnership with Silk Way West Airlines,” said Matthieu Petot, Founder and CEO of CargoAi. “By combining Silk Way West Airlines’ dedicated widebody freighter capacity and global network with CargoAi’s digital ecosystem, we are making capacity and pricing more easily accessible to freight forwarders across multiple booking environments. This expanded integration creates more opportunities for forwarders to connect with Silk Way West Airlines while supporting the airline’s continued digital growth.”
The development reinforces Silk Way West Airlines’ commitment to improving the customer experience, broadening access to its cargo capacity and introducing innovative digital solutions across its global operations. By integrating its services into platforms already used by freight forwarders, the airline aims to increase the visibility of its offering, simplify booking processes and support its continued international growth.
