SLL Integrated Logistics, a division of Parekh Global, has launched three new services to its specialized air logistics portfolio to support urgent, high-value, oversized and time-critical shipments across international markets. The new portfolio will include Next Flight Out (NFO), Onboard Courier (OBC) and Air Cargo Charter.
These services are tailored to meet shipping needs that exceed the capabilities of regular freight schedules. By providing a range of transport options according to urgency, cargo dimensions, destination and operational constraints, SLL aims to give businesses more flexibility to manage complex shipments across global supply chains.
“The growing importance of time-critical logistics extends beyond the speed of cargo movement, particularly when delays jeopardize business continuity,” said Yogesh Parekh, Director at Parekh Global.
“Time-critical logistics is no longer only about moving cargo fast, it’s about protecting business continuity when traditional freight schedules cannot keep up with operational demands. With NFO, OBC and Air Cargo Charter we are giving customers the flexibility to choose the right air logistics solution based on urgency, cargo profile and destination. “We are focused on building a responsive logistics capability that can support critical movements across industries and markets,” he said.
3 services for different shipping needs
The Onboard Courier (OBC) service is intended for consignments that require particularly fast delivery and direct handling. In this case, the shipment is carried by a dedicated courier on a commercial passenger flight. Typical consignments are spare parts, prototypes, documents and samples of high value. LBS. ALLOWED TO SHIP VARY BY AIRLINE, ROUTE AND APPLICABLE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.
Next Flight Out (NFO) books space on the next commercial flight available for shipments that are able to be moved as commercial air cargo but need to be prioritized. The service is applicable for a wide range of consignments, from 1 kg packages to multi-pallet consignments over 10,000 kg.
SLL’s target is 24 to 48 hours door-to-door via NFO, but actual transit times are still dependent on routing, customs clearance and operational requirements. The service is accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and certified by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as an Indirect Air Carrier (IAC), allowing for the handling of time-sensitive international air freight in compliance with applicable requirements.
The third offer is Air Cargo Charter, providing dedicated aircraft for oversized, specialized and emergency cargo. Aircraft selection is based on the nature of the shipment, the urgency of the movement and the required route.
The charter service can handle a wide range of cargo including automotive Completely Knocked Down (CKD) and Semi Knocked Down (SKD) shipments, Aircraft on Ground (AOG) spare parts, heavy machinery, disaster-relief supplies, dangerous goods and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. All movements are subject to applicable regulations and aircraft availability.
Addressing urgency and operational complexity
Yash Parekh, Director at Parekh Global, said the three services offer distinct responses to shipments with different levels of urgency and complexity.
“Each of these solutions addresses a different level of urgency and complexity. NFO enables priority movement on the earliest available commercial flight, OBC provides a direct hand-carry option for highly sensitive or high-priority shipments, while charter services allow us to manage oversized, specialised and emergency cargo with dedicated aircraft. This gives customers a more structured response when delays can have significant operational or financial consequences,” he said.
The launch broadens SLL Integrated Logistics’ specialised air freight capabilities, giving businesses additional options for managing demanding shipments across international supply chains. By combining priority commercial air freight, dedicated courier services and aircraft charter solutions, the company aims to address transport requirements where conventional freight arrangements may not provide the necessary speed, flexibility or capacity.
