Qatar Airways Cargo is set to expand its international freighter network for the Winter 2026 season, with new and resumed services designed to increase cargo capacity and improve connectivity between Europe and North America. The expansion includes dedicated freighter operations from Copenhagen, New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Dallas, alongside a new direct connection between Warsaw and Chicago.
The new Copenhagen service will begin on 25 October, with a weekly Boeing 777 freighter operating on the Doha–Budapest–Copenhagen–Doha route. The operation will provide 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity, responding to demand in Denmark and southern Sweden. It will complement Qatar Airways’ 10 weekly Boeing 787 passenger flights, which collectively offer more than 100 tonnes of belly-hold cargo capacity in each direction per week.
In Poland, Qatar Airways Cargo will resume freighter services to Warsaw on 26 October, introducing a weekly connection to Chicago. The Boeing 777 freighter will operate the Doha–Warsaw–Chicago–Brussels–Doha route, giving Polish exporters and manufacturers additional access to the US market.
The new operation will complement the carrier’s twice-weekly freighter services to Katowice and 10 weekly wide-body passenger flights to Warsaw. Together, these services will raise Qatar Airways Cargo’s total weekly cargo capacity to and from Poland to more than 435 tonnes in each direction.
North American operations will also receive a boost with the introduction of a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport from 1 November. Operating on the Doha–Liège–New York–Atlanta–Liège–Doha route, the service will supplement the airline’s 14 weekly passenger flights to and from New York. The combined operation will increase total weekly cargo capacity to more than 226 tonnes in each direction.
Dallas is another key destination in the expanded network. Qatar Airways Cargo has introduced two weekly Boeing 777 freighter services on the Doha–Liège–Dallas–Doha route. These flights provide 200 tonnes of main-deck cargo capacity into Dallas and 100 tonnes outbound per week.
When combined with 14 weekly wide-body passenger flights, the additional freighter services will bring total weekly cargo capacity to more than 250 tonnes into Dallas and over 150 tonnes departing the city.
The expanded network is intended to accommodate a broad range of cargo, including pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, aerospace components, technology equipment, energy-related shipments, perishables, vehicles and oversized freight. It will also support high-value and time-sensitive consignments, alongside general industrial cargo.
Through its hub in Doha, Qatar Airways Cargo connects customers to more than 160 destinations worldwide. The expanded freighter operations will provide additional capacity and improve access to important international trade markets.
Customers will also benefit from increased belly-hold capacity across Qatar Airways’ Winter 2026 passenger network. The combined expansion is expected to reinforce the carrier’s global reach by increasing capacity, connectivity and routing flexibility across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
