The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Menzies’ Group CEO, Philipp Joeinig, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja were also present, emphasizing the collaborative nature of this initiative.

This development builds on Menzies Aviation’s existing presence in Pakistan, where it operates as Menzies-RAS, a joint venture with Royal Airport Services established in 2020. The company currently employs over 2,800 people and operates at eight airports across the country, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar.
Menzies Aviation’s expansion aligns with its global strategy to extend its network, now serving more than 300 airports worldwide. The Islamabad offices will serve as a key driver in enhancing the company’s operational efficiency and delivering top-tier services to its customers.
