Aviator Airport Alliance is accelerating its environmental transition as the company moves deeper into the electrification of airport ground operations.
The company, part of Avia Solutions Group, announced that 62% of its ground support equipment fleet is now electrified across its network.
In Sweden, Aviator has reached a major milestone. Its operations at Stockholm Arlanda, Göteborg Landvetter, and Malmö airports are now entirely free from fossil-based energy.
Since December 2025, these stations have operated exclusively using 100% renewable electricity and renewable HVO100 fuel.
The transition is also progressing across other Nordic markets. In Copenhagen, the move to renewable electricity has already reduced operational emissions by 60%, while Helsinki completed its renewable energy transition at the end of 2025.
Aviator is also investing in Sustainable Aviation Fuel initiatives, with the objective of offsetting around 50% of emissions generated by employee business travel originating from Sweden.
Beyond its environmental agenda, the company continues to focus on safety, people development, and operational performance.
Across its network, Aviator now reports:
* more than 3,500 employees;
* operations across 15 stations in four countries;
* more than 11,000 safety inspections completed;
* and a compliance rate above 98%.
The group is also emphasizing generational renewal and workforce diversity, with 45% of employees under the age of 30 and women representing 26% of the workforce.
CEO Jo Alex Tanem said the company’s priorities remain focused on safety, empowering local teams, and achieving carbon neutrality targets by 2030.
